Ordering a Temp:
- Phone OVER 40 Recruitment specifying the position, job title, skills, responsibilities, the length of the assignment and the daily hours of work.
- The Employer job registration form can also be used for this purpose.
Our Briefing:
- Face to face meeting with your hiring manager and/or HR Manager
- Full needs analysis, addressing your Organisation’s profile, culture and environmental conditions.
- The “Temporary Staff - Terms and Conditions” form to be signed
Temporary Sourcing:
- Full Maximizer database search matching competencies
- Advertising on our website, Seek, Career One or the Advertiser (in consultation with your hiring Manager and/or HR Manager).
- Other initiatives drawn from comprehensive sourcing strategies we deploy in consultation with you.
Initial Screening:
- Temps who have been identified as having the required/necessary skills and experience are contacted to determine their availability.
- If available the Temp is offered the opportunity to go on the assignment.
Skills Testing:
- OVER 40 Recruitment at all times endeavours to ensure that every Temp assigned matches your requirements exactly.
- Temps who will be operating a PC will be tested on an advanced PC skills testing software package to assess their proficiency.
Feedback to Employer:
- The Employer is then contacted to discuss the available Temp. It is at this point that the Employer will agree to that particular Temp being assigned.
Assignment Briefing:
- The Temp is then fully briefed on all aspects of the position and the company.
- The Temp signs an “Acceptance of Temporary Assignment” form.
Reference Check:
- Two verbal reference checks are carried out on all our Temps.
First day call:
- The consultant will make a courtesy telephone call to both the candidate and Employer on the first day of the assignment to ensure both parties are happy with the appointment.
Four hour Guarantee:
- All OVER 40 Recruitment’s Temps are assigned with a 4 hour guarantee. This means that in the unlikely event of you finding the work of any OVER 40 Recruitment Temp unsatisfactory and you notify us to end the assignment within the first 4 hours of the start of the assignment no charge will be made for the period worked. Immediate arrangements will be set in motion to ensure a replacement is assigned.
Quality Candidate Performance follow up:
- Our consultant will remain in contact with the Employer and the Temp on a weekly basis.
Temp to Perm:
- OVER 40 Recruitment Temps are specially selected for their skills and experience. It is therefore not unusual for clients to wish to employ them permanently. Should such a situation arise, please communicate with your OVER 40 Recruitment Consultant who will discuss with you our standard “conversion fee” and the procedure to conclude the permanent employment process with us.
Accounting Procedure:
- All OVER 40 Recruitment Temps are paid weekly. Clients are invoiced weekly and are required to pay on invoice.
Time Sheets:
- The OVER 40 Recruitment Temps present a time sheet to you at the end of each assignment, or end of each week for your approval and signature. We pay our Temp Staff weekly and invoice you on the basis of the time recorded on the time sheet as authorised by you.
