Our Briefing:
- Face to face meeting with your hiring manager and/or HR Manager
- Full needs analysis, addressing your organisation’s profile, culture and environmental requirements
- Job Profiling – OVER 40 Recruitment can help develop Job Descriptions if required
Candidate Sourcing:
- Full Maximizer database search matching competencies
- Advertising on our website, Seek, Career One or the Advertiser (in consultation with your hiring Manager and/or HR Manager).
- Other initiatives drawn from comprehensive sourcing strategies we deploy in consultation with you.
Initial Screening:
- Review of all the applicants resumes.
- Telephone interviews are conducted with potential candidates to determine suitability. Job Seekers are asked a number of pre-agreed questions to determine competency.
Initial Shortlist:
- An initial candidate interview shortlist is finalised. Candidates are contacted to establish interview times. A further shortlist refinement takes place when discussing the position and confirming candidate interest.
Candidate Interview:
- OVER 40 Recruitment uses tried and tested interview techniques such as behavioural interview questions which are aligned with the five main criteria that have been identified in the initial Job Profile.
- Candidates are tested on selected Skill Tests depending on skills required.
Optional Training:
- If a candidate is suitable but lacks a specific word processing skill, OVER 40 Recruitment will provide free training to help bring the candidate up to the required level of competency at no cost to either the client or the candidate.
Shortlist:
- When the interviews have been completed a shortlist of the most suitable candidates is selected. The consultant will draw up a brief overview of the interview including candidate’s responses to the core competencies questions. The consultant’s notes along with their test results, will accompany the short listed candidates Resume.
Reference Check:
- Once the candidates have been interviewed permission is sought from short listed candidates to conduct two verbal references checks.
Final Shortlist:
- Candidates are evaluated against previously defined essential and desirable criteria taking into consideration the references taken that are designed around the core competencies to arrive at a shortlist.
Candidate Briefing – Pre-interview preparation:
- Candidates are fully briefed on the position, your Company and the final interview process.
Client Interview:
- To be arranged at your convenience.
- Our consultants can attend interviews at client’s offices on request.
Confirmation of Placement:
- OVER 40 Recruitment makes formal offers of employment on your behalf. Counter offers, and negotiation of terms and conditions of employment are managed by OVER 40 Recruitment. All candidates are required to advise OVER 40 Recruitment of resignation from prior position and of final confirmation of acceptance for job in question.
- The Employer will provide the candidate with a letter of appointment and other relevant documentation for the job in question.
Quality Candidate Performance follow up:
- Your consultant will remain in contact with both you and the successful candidate throughout the guarantee period.
- During the guarantee period OVER 40 Recruitment will provide further in-house training to the candidate and advise to both candidate and Employer if required.
